Debit Fraud

Recent increases in fraud relating to debit card transactions have affected area banks and customers. At North Alabama Bank, we take fraudulent activity and our customer’s well-being seriously. Therefore we are taking preventative measures to minimize both your and the bank’s financial exposure. One of these measures has been to block certain merchants and states outside of the Tennessee and Alabama area as well as any International merchants. These are for signature based transactions only. Please keep in mind that this new block pertains only to signature based transactions, so PIN based transactions will not be part of the block.
